My original illustrations were taken from the Darling Buds of May stories by HE Bates. These three small giclee prints have been window mounted horizontally as a set. Painted originally in watercolour inks they have bright jewel-like colours.
"Ma liked to cook in a bright canary yellow apron" "Primrose poured him a second cup of tea and Pop, leaning across the table filled it up with whiskey" "Every now and then people collided with each other in the crowded fog" Each print has a few words written underneath it to set it into the story.
Printed on textured natural white artist paper (300gsm) with Canon Lucia pigment inks and window mounted on natural white card. Each image measures 5x6.5cm and the overall mount is 16x39cm.
Although every effort is made to photograph my items accurately some colours may differ slightly depending on your monitor. Note this is an unframed set of mounted prints.
Prints are packaged in biodegradable cellophane with a card backing and and are shipped in a strong board backed envelope. Larger than A4 prints are tissue wrapped and sent in a sturdy tube.
