Auntie Comfort was a real lady, back in the day when names were given like gifts from a fairy godmother. I think she probably wore a floral apron for doing the washing, and took great pleasure in a good drying day (which is both sunny and breezy). The house and washing line belong to a friend who I stayed with for a while and she now owns the original oil painting. This image was a study for the larger piece and it hangs by my bed, a permanent sunny window.
Printed on a textured natural white artist paper (300gsm) with Canon Lucia pigment inks, each print is titled and signed on the front. Although every effort is made to photograph my items accurately some colours may differ slightly depending on your monitor. Note this is an unframed print the photo settings are to show how it looks framed.
Height: 30 Centimetres; Width: 41 Centimetres.
The sizes listed are for the image- there is an additional 2.5 cm white border. Prints are packaged in biodegradable cellophane with a card backing and are shipped in strong, board backed envelopes. Larger than A4 prints are tissue wrapped and sent in a sturdy tube.
